pricing and community care
-
I believe that we are at our best when we feel supported, and I understand that our ability to afford good support fluctuates. I want to be able to offer my services consistently and reliably so that your business can grow without worrying about what you can afford.
-
That is expected, and it’s also the point! Fees increase or decrease based on each period’s income. There’s no averaging across periods, no penalties for slow months, just a steady small percentage so that you don’t have to worry about affording help.
-
No. This is a defined pricing structure with clear boundaries, minimums, and maximums. The flexibility is built into the model, with no need to negotiate month-to-month or case-by-case.
-
Generally, no. I feel that hourly pricing does not truly serve either of us. It can leave me feeling like I’m overworked, or you feeling like you’ve overpaid. Basing my costs on your business’s income has consistently felt like the most fair way to balance our needs.

If you have further questions, I’m happy to discuss them with you.
what support from me looks like
-
Support from me includes meticulous logbook maintenance, financial reports that make sense, and timely tax reminders. My goal is that working with me feels like having a cheerleader in your inbox once or twice a month, keeping you on track, gently holding you to your goals, and celebrating your wins.
-
That’s normal. And it’s okay. It’s what I’m here for. Untangling messy or overdue books is part of my work, and you don’t need to have everything “figured out” before reaching out.
-
Yes. Payroll is included in my tier 2 services. I only work with clients who have 5 or less employees—my focus is on truly small small businesses.
-
Yes. I will provide reminders for upcoming tax payments and I will help you stay oriented to what’s coming. My tax reminders include the direct links to payment portals and the specfic numbers you need to enter once you’ve logged on. No thinking required.
-
My goal is to reduce your cognitive load. I’ll handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and I will only reach out when I need to send you a reminder or ask for a clarification. Most clients hear from me once or twice a month.
will we be a good fit together?
-
All communication with me will happen via email. And unless we are fortunate enough to find the time to meet in person, all my meetings with you will occur over Google Meet. I do my best to reply to all my emails within a business day, though sometimes life does occur. When you have something time-sensitive, I ask that you note that in your message.
-
I work with small LLCs and S-Corps, typically single-person companies. Most of my clients work in a healing or creative profession and are people who need steady, reliable, and affordable support.
-
I do everything in life with my values front and center, and my business reflects that. So if the way I speak about my business speaks to your heart as well, then we will likely be a good fit.
-
Often, yes. Many of my clients come to me after trying to do everything themselves. My intention is to step in before burnout becomes the cost of running your business.
-
Yes. I am comfortable working with delayed and irregular income, and making sense of months where the revenue doesn’t line up with the work you’ve done.
